Road to become a pro gardener
Wonder how some people have them juicy snacks and are able to create pets with such ease and efficiency, or how some people acquire rare reagents without farming one bit.
Well its gardening folks and if you've mastered the arts you are one step closer on being a wiz head
Getting Started
Now during the beginning few levels of gardening you would like to rank up as fast as you can so you can obtain additional gardening spells from other vendors which will benefit you for this journey.
Tip #1.1 - Plant Honey Sickles (obtained from Bazaar) plant a bulk of them with all their likes and grind the xp till you get to rank 5. recommended to plant about 5+ for faster xp gain
Honey Sickles Likes: Garden Gnome, Fly Traps, Magma/Snow peas, Red Barn/Botanic Garden Castle,Pixie (easily obtained by having a maycast gardening pixie pet OR planting tiger lily nearby), and Weapon Rack
1.2 - Instead of Honey Sickles a better alternative is farming mobs in Krokotopia (or purchasing from crown shop) and planting Key Limes as they give xp equivilent to high ranking plants such as Couch Potatoes and will easily level you up. Similarly get all the likes to decrease time needed to mature/elder.
Plants that Matter
After reaching a gardening rank around 5 we can move on farming those juicy plants which will grant you them juicy goods.
First up we have the good ol Couch Potatoes, These plants provide you with not just rank 9 mega snacks (Elder Harvest) but also are a great source for gold. Like all gardening plants they are best utilized when planted in bulk. How to obtain them/most efficient?
The best place way to obtain Couch Potatoes is through farming
1) Farming the Monkey Spiders in Empyrea - If with a storm you can kill these critters in one round and the drop rate for the seed is moderate
2)If you don't have access to Empyrea then your best choice is to go old school and farm the Splithhoof Barbarians or Troubled Warriors in Grizzlehiem (Savarstaad Pass)
Second Plant we have is... Evil Magma Peas.
This plant is a great source if ya wanna stack up on them black pearls/lotuses/sunstone/ and some other reagents and yet also maintaining the same op snacks you get from Couch Potatoes.
Furthermore these plants are smaller therefore you can plant them in a bigger bulk than others unlike the Couch Potatoes farming for Magma Peas isn't fun as the drop rate aren't nearly as high. However if you'd like to farm then your best bet would be the Sand Witches in Mirage
Now there are countless of other plants which provides goods like these or different such as King Parsley,Sunions, Jewel Blossoms and much more! But these are the 2 main plants for them juicy snack farms
The Farley Way
Once you have obtained the plants and have well grinded the xp of them Honey Sickles and/or them Key limes then we move on gardening the juicy plants you farmed. Like all plants you will have to make sure all likes are met to fully speed up the process of your plants growth as its mostly the Elder Harvest which provides you the most juicy rewards of them all
Couch Potatoes Likes - King Parsley, Red Barn Farm/Botanic Garden, Garden Gnome, Pixie (unlike Magma Peas they are able to attract their own),Sandwich Station, and Litter
Evil Magma Peas Likes - Boom Shroom, Red Barn/Botanic, Garden Gnome, Pixie (Tiger lily easily attracts one),Djembe Drums and Egg Basket
Swish Wish Glitch
Now to best way to garden and take care of your plants is making something called a garden which means a stack of plants which you can take care of with one spell. This can be done by searching up layouts on YouTube for triple stack gardens, this in the long run saves a tremendous amount of energy and time.
Checking on ya Sproutlings
When it comes to checking plants you really want to abandon them instead of providing all your energy to them. For example taking care of the plants twice a day (once in morning and once at night) is ideal because plants are really needy. And if you don't attend to the needs after seeing em they will turn sick and then maybe die.
Key point when checking on your plants is once you checked your plants don't visit the home again until the next time you are going to attend them. For example once you check in the morning don't return to the home until night to check on them again.
If your a lazy gardener and just care for elder harvests then you can simply just check once a day and not visit your home till the next day
