You will first need to get the gardening quest which is given by Moolinda wu once you reach level 12 which will walk you through the basics of gardening and plants also you can garden in any home including your dorms but we recommend getting the Red Barn Farm from the crowns store which is obtainable with gold also
Secondly, you will need to buy starter seeds from Farley in golem court seeds require a specialized plot or pot so please check the pot required for the plant then purchase it i highly recommend plots instead of pots as you don't need to spend gold to purchase them
Then purchase the gardening spells from Farley his friends are all across the spiral who also sell the gardening spells some spells have a larger rage than other spells some spells only tend to one plot whereas other spells tend to a lot and have a wider range but the wider range spells require a lot more energy usually around 10-15 energy
Plants require tending to so their needs can be given such as magic, music, and rain, etc their needs will appear in a sign of what needs they need tending to you then use the spells given to you by Farley so they don't wilt off and resetting all your progress on the harvest and die it is easier to group plants so you can tend to all their needs at once it is an easy way of saving your energy but a rookie mistake some people make is grouping different plants together different plants have different needs so it would be for the best putting, all the same, plants together
Plants have "Likes" and "Dislikes" for example couch potatoes the seed i discussed above likes to be placed need to the furniture item named litter once it is nearby of the seeds the plants will grow faster and just by planting your seeds in a Red Barn Farm it increases the speed of them becoming elder by 15%
