Beastmoon Mayhem uses the same beast forms as the Beastmoon Hunt. Mayhem is NOT PvP and is NOT a be patient and win it situation.

Mayhem is 6v6 PvE (player versus Enemy) and is an event with a time limit.  Time runs out, you lose.
Unlike Beastmoon Hunt Heal over Time (HoT's) ,Damage over Time (DoT's), and sometimes even shields take up precious time and either aren't worth using, or are just taking away seconds needed to hit and do actual direct damage that can finish a fight to move on to the next one.

Mayhem works by working 3 Fights for 3 Waves. The First wave is 3 fights then a spiral fight which completes the wave and progresses the group to the next wave.  On the map there will be icons that show the enemies class at that specific fight.

Many groups will choose to pair up on First Wave as 2v2, Second wave 3v3 and then 2v2 on 3rd.
Other groups will go 3v3 first wave, so listen closely and follow the group and do your best to work around any people who are not communicating or are simply not working for the group effort.

Once the Initial fights of the 'WAVE' are complete, the spiral will open for a fight in the form of difficulty 'WAVE'. Wave one will allow 4v2, Wave Two is 4v3 and finally Wave 3 is 4v4.

Now, during the spiral fight outside are new fights that when won will give the team fighting the spiral certain mass spells that help them to be greatly better in their mission to win at the spiral fights.

These spells outside give the spiral fight Blades, Shields and a Damage over time. Most groups prefer getting the blades first then a shield and lastly the Sutyr's Rage Damage over Time if there is a ton of time left when the group is hitting  fast and hard and in a very good position of time.

Sacrificial Lamb Strategy

This strategy is mainly for final boss of stage 3.

The basis of the strategy is to use one person who do not mind not recieving the spiral point reward for winning (I hope KI fix this soon) for being the tank. The form should be either; Ice Colossus, Death Cyclopes, Balance Cyclopes, or Life Colossus. It is recommended that 5 player, including the Lamb, should be present in the spiral ring, so when the Lamb (tank), flee, another beast can replace the Lamb. If you have 4 players, you will be down a player when the Lamb flees.

The Lamb, goes first into the spiral battle alone.

Round 1: Letting the boss and minion waste all their pips and AOE hits on the Lamb.
Round 2: If the Lamb did not die, 3 player that is not the new tank or healer go in first. This way, once round 3 starts, the Lamb should die, and the  new tank or healer can join in the first spot. This way, the boss and mobs are still aggro on the Lamb and not others
Round 3: The Lamb should of flee, and the new tank or healer should of join.

And that's pretty much how it works. It's simple on paper, but it's some what hard to excute if everyone does not understand.

Bonus Tip Make sure the Lamb, uses a form that he or she does not care to lose, since you can not use again once you die.

Once the Lamb dies, he or she should group up with the remaining player that is going to do outside battle, always head for blade first (Redirect Current) when using this strategy, because since the boss and minion is out of pips, it's better to grab blades first than Phalanx (Blade and shield).

Bonus Bonus Tip

Grab the spells in this order for outside beast (this is what normally should go first, but it can be inter changeable depending on certain situation);

Redirect Current -> Phalanx -> Artemis -> Rage (usually don't ever get this)

some things i noticed when teaming up in mayhem: fire pig and fire minotaur are a good team (if both start off with 2 pips you can double hit each 200 and get rid of one person immediately.

storm krok and storm wolf are also good because both have good hits and can blade each other if no hit shows up, balance fairy and storm wolf are also good because she gives him pips to do strong hits and can deflect dots from herself (but might need some to shield if fighting hitters).

forms like ice colossus or ice krok are good when the other person needs some shields because they have weaker health (and krok still has some ok hits) never go in a fight where you are two weak forms like a fairy and elf (or rat possibly) because the chances of winning are low.

myth minotaur is ok he has some nice 200 hits and steals shields from enemy which is great against ice, i used to like playing death fairy but dot forms are tricky because you'll need a hitter or someone to blade you to make them worth it
